The Thermacell MR-BP Backpacker provides reliable mosquito protection for camping and outdoor adventures – especially in situations where conventional methods reach their limits. This handy device creates a protective zone of approximately 15 m² using proven Thermacell technology and reduces mosquitoes and similar insects by up to 98% – all without spray or lotion on the skin. The active ingredient, Eucalyptus Citriodora, is released via mats heated by a mini butane gas heater with a safe piezo ignition, without an open flame. This ensures comfortable and safe use, accompanied by a pleasant citrus scent. The lightweight Backpacker model is compatible with standard screw-thread gas cartridges and is ideal for mobile use such as camping, hiking or travelling. Refill packs for Thermacell mosquito repellent with the active ingredient PT-19 Eucalyptus Citriodora. All devices use the same refill products. The R-4 is sufficient for up to 48 hours of insect protection, the R-10 for up to 120 hours. The M-48 was specially developed for the MR-BP Backpacker device and contains only active ingredient pads.
