Active plug & play sound system especially customised for motorhomes. It consists of a compact amplifier with integrated DSP and a subwoofer. The amplifier optimises the sound of the speakers in the vehicle and powers the high-performance subwoofer. The sound processor (DSP) optimises installation-related weaknesses in high-frequency reproduction. The subwoofer provides a downwardly enhanced bass reproduction while simultaneously relieving the speakers of the low frequencies. Sound Systems for Fiat Ducato
Sound systems configured for Fiat Ducato, Citroen Jumper and Peugeot Boxer. They consist of a 4-channel amplifier with integrated DSP sound processor and a subwoofer. Model CAS207D is specially designed for vehicles with front installed or to be installed Caratec Audio CAK1650.DU speakers (item no. 72 749). Any existing loudspeakers installed in the body may still be driven by the radio.
Sound Systems for Integrated Motorhomes
Sound systems specially designed to improve the sound inside integrated motorhomes. They are equipped with a 4-channel amplifier and subwoofer. To improve the sound in cabs, they are configured with 10 cm loudspeaker systems in the dashboard (CAS202) or with 13-16 cm loudspeakers in the lateral footwell (CAS203). Any loudspeakers already fitted in the body are still driven by the radio.

Sound system specifically designed for Mercedes Sprinter built since 2018/03 with 6-channel amplifier which significantly improve the sound of the loudspeakers installed in the vehicle. Any loudspeakers existing in the living area, are triggered by the amplifier via a high pass with optimised frequency response. This way, also these loudspeakers sound more dynamic than before. The version CAS211S is suitable for vehicles with radio preparation. For vehicles with MBUX 7” with navigation and 10” without DSP-box preliminary set-up, the version CAS212S has been designed. For vehicles with MBUX-systems with DSP-box preliminary set-up, the version CAS213S is available.
The ideal solution to easily and almost invisibly have a better sound for TV and smartphone in a motorhome or trailer. The compact 4 channel amplifier is connected with the earphone jack of the television. The integrated Bluetooth unit can be used as a different source. Herewith, the music coming from the smartphone can easily be streamed. 2 Caratec Exciter CAE70 are used as sound converters. They are mounted invisibly beneath the furniture and create a pleasant sound. The set can optionally be extended by 2 more CAE70.
