Thanks to the polyurethane frame, the insulation quality is excellent. Even at an ambient temperature of -30 °C, the winter set provides the maximum performance of Dometic absorber refrigerators, whether it operates with gas or electricity. If the temperatures rises to 5 °C or more, a standard winter cover is recommended.

This quietly running 12 V double ventilator can be easily integrated into existing roof windows from 38 to 55 cm, such as Dometic Mini Heki or MPK, thanks to the mounting material included in delivery and the extendable mounting rails. Advantage: The roof window can be opened and closed without removing the fan. The two ventilators (ø 14 cm) with their strong reversible air flow (aeration and ventilation) ensure fast heat dissipation and regulated circulation. The Dometic CK 2000 extractor hood for motorhomes uses the principle of air recirculation. Hence, installing a roof ventilator is not necessary. Cooking fumes are drawn upwards along the centre line of the unit, the cleaned air is returned via the side and front vents. The exterior frame is made of dimensionally stable, weather-proof ASA plastic. Thus secure bonding and sealing during installation is possible. The operating knob is located on the side, keeping the opening clear across the entire surface. When closed, the Thule roof hood provides a continuous forced ventilation of 100 cm². When developing the Thule skylights, particular attention was paid to low energy consumption (0.15 - 2.5 amperes) and quiet operation even at high speeds; due to the aerodynamical form no additional spoiler is needed. Due to the embedded hinge with continuous rail and the long protruding exterior capsule, rainwater can drain optimally. Furthermore the mosquito blind (standard for all models without vent) as well as the blackout blind (standard for all models) have been newly designed.
