For Fiat Ducato vans built since 2006/07 and vehicles identical in construction, available carrier system which is particularly characterised by the fact that it is ambilaterally moveable. Without removing the load, this carrier can be pushed sideways to the left or right to open doors or flaps behind it. Since only the vehicle-specific steel mounts are permanently mounted on the vehicle chassis, the carrier itself can be removed or attached quickly and easily. Very well suited for the transport of heavier e-bikes. Basically, a scooter can be transported inside the spacious rear garage or at the rear of the motorhome at a load rack. As in both cases, restrictions concerning the motorhome’s remaining loading capacity have to be adhered to, the Linnepe rack systems are made of seawater-resistant aluminium. At the same time, they provide the same (if not more) stability as standard steel racks – in combination with the significant weight reduction. All rack systems mounted to the outside are connected to the chassis and not the body. They are detachable without tools and are delivered with an EG type certification, thus, they do not need to be registered in the vehicle’s registration papers.
