Many Euro 5 and almost all Euro 6 vehicles are equipped with an intelligent alternator. The function of 12 V isolating relays and D+ simulators is now only partially possible. A charging booster or BCB must be installed for charging the RV battery/batteries. After the engine stops, the relay disconnects the starter and the RV battery. Switching current (max.) 70 A.
