Onboard Charger

This compact and highly efficient onboard charger for the caravan and motorhome market was developed and also completely manufactured in Germany. The needs of modern campers, who demand high charging performance but want silent charging without annoying fan noises, were taken into account. The ingenious shape of the casing with its cooling fins ensures that the temperature on the surface does not rise above the permissible values even during continuous charging. Even though it is specially adapted to Powerboozt lithium iron phosphate batteries, it can also be adjusted to LiFePO4 batteries from other manufacturers as well as liquid acid lead batteries, GEL, AGM batteries and spiral cell batteries (Optima). Switching takes place immediately after plugging in the mains voltage and only needs to be done once. A temperature sensor is supplied to ensure that the lithium battery is not charged with the full charging current and potentially destroyed when charging at sub-zero temperatures. With lead-acid batteries, the charging voltage is adapted to the temperature.

Charging current: max. 25 A; efficiency: 93%; charging cable: 2 x 4 mm².
