The 12-V compressor of this series is very frugal in its energy consumption compared to other absorber models. A space-saving feature is that there is no need to carry additional gas for power supply. Thanks to its boost function, it is possible to cool down goods quickly; at night it operates very quietly and economically in the corresponding mode. As with the absorber versions of the series 10, the RCD 10.5ET and RCD 10.5.XET are very spacious units with 2 doors for the freezer and refrigerator compartments. The RCL 10.4ET version is used wherever the space in width available is limited. The two RC 10.4T versions were specifically developed by Dometic for installation into the Fiat Ducato. With the versions RC 10.4T and RCL 10.4ET, the freezer compartment is removable.
